In Vedic astrology the moment of birth fixes a child's Janam Kundli. When a birth can be planned — most often an elective C-section — families choose a shubh muhurat: a day and time when the Moon's Nakshatra and the Tithi are supportive. Pick a month below for its birth-favourable dates.
Each month's list is computed with Swiss Ephemeris using the Lahiri (sidereal) ayanamsa — the same system used across AstroTwinz. We take the Moon's Nakshatra and the Tithi near sunrise, keep birth-favourable Nakshatras (such as Rohini, Pushya, Hasta, Anuradha, Shravana, Revati and the Uttara group) and exclude Rikta tithis and Amavasya. It is real astronomy, not a generic almanac.
The best date for your child is the one that also fits your family's chart. AstroTwinz narrows these dates to the most auspicious Lagna and Nakshatra for you — and can align the timing with a celebrity birth chart you admire.

Dates are computed with Swiss Ephemeris (Lahiri ayanamsa) and reflect generally birth-favourable Nakshatras, excluding Rikta tithis and Amavasya. They are informational, not medical advice, and are not a substitute for a personalised muhurat based on your full birth chart. Always follow your doctor's guidance on timing of childbirth.
